Sunday PCC Run

Hi everyone, this is what's in the shed today from PCC. I'm going to make it my goal to have the PCC run delivered by 5:oo p.m. every other Sunday. I'd like you to have the opportunity to shop right away after I drop it off.

VEGGIES:
Kale (lrg amt)
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Radishes
Corn
Carrots
Peppers
Boxed salads
lettuce (various types)
bean spouts (for stir fry, several bags)
Potatoes, yams, sweet potatoes

FRUITS:
Strawberries (lrg amt)
Pairs, oranges, apples, peaches, lemons
GRAPES (lrg amt, not from the PCC run)
Tomatoes

BAKERY:
Short cake
Pound cake
Cup cakes
Muffins
Cookies
Cakes (lrg amt in freezer)
2 - 1/2 sheet cakes on the shelf (not from PCC run)
Chocolate Cream Pie in fridge
Strawberry short cake

  1. With all those strawberries and grapes...wash, sort, and trim the strawberries and freeze. When frozen all about 1 cup to a blender with two bananas (also usually available!) add a cup or so of milk (rice, soy, almond, or dairy) and blend = two fruit smoothies. With the grapes, sort and wash and FREEZE in snack size serving bags. Kids LOVE frozen grapes! - Erin

  2. we do that too, or you can use the strawberries to make a topping for pancakes or waffles. I also make jam once i have enough strawberries to make a whole batch.
